The “Write One Line" project exists to help you discover mental and emotional healing through writing in a journal! In a world where anxiety, stress and depression are significantly on the the rise, the benefits of putting pen to paper each day have been proven to make a huge difference!
So, why don’t more people do it?! Frankly, it just seems hard to start and stick with! The empty page can be intimidating so we start and stop or never get started.
For years this was true for me until I came up with a simple life-hack called write one line! The idea of “Write One Line" began as a practice to help my personal growth. Although I had been a journaler for 20 years the truth is I might journal for 3 days and then not again for 3 years! I had a decade of my life on just a couple pages!
I knew if I was was going to start and stick with it, I had to make it simple! The easiest thing I could think of was “write one line"! Yup, that’s it! Take 2 minutes each day to write one line. A memory, an idea, a lesson I had learned, or anything really! It honestly didn’t matter what I wrote, it mattered that I wrote and it was the key to getting consitent in my own practice.
But it hasn’t stopped there! Over the past couple years, others have picked up the practice and now hundreds of people across the country “write one line" each day to help their pursuit of better lives!
So, the practice helps because it’s easy to do, and I’ve also discovered that it helps when you have great journal you actually want to write in! This is why I launched Write One Line journals – to give you a unique journal made with the highest quality 8 oz whiskey tan leather, produced by hand in my workshop.
As a bit of a leather junky, I have purchased leather journals of this same quality from other companies for upward of $100, but in my mind, that’s not really affordable. This is why I keep the cost of my journals as low as I can at $45 to give you an artisan quality leather journal at a mass production journal price. (I also include a cool fountain pen with it!)
Well, that’s it! That’s the story and I appreciate you taking the time to read it! I hope you will “Write One Line" each day and if you need a great leather journal, I would love to make one for you!
